This seems to be working! I did a test patch on my arm first, that was several weeks ago, and the hair is just barely growing in now, which was shocking! But, my arm hair is much finer than the areas I was really wanting to tackle.
It is also working for my underarms, bikini area and for facial hair.

I bought this mainly for use on my chin and under arms. I produce too much of a hormone that causes me to grow darker facial hair under my chin, and very thick, quickly growing hair everywhere I shave. This causes me to get ingrowns (barf) in my armpits (double barf), which has always been an area for insecurity for me. I decided before I decide if i'm really going to spend the huge chunk of money on professional hair removal, I would try an at home machine for a fraction of the cost. I did a lot of research on the at home laser hair removal devices that work the best, work the fastest, and are the best bang for your buck.
I found consistent reviews and listings that had the DEESS hair removal device on the lowest end for cost, but very effective, however it does take more time in the process than others that are equally effective, but often more expensive. I decided to go with the DEESS, and I've been excited to see the results coming in, or should I say not coming in!
I did some testing, and decided that since I had no burn marks, no significant pain, and no reddening of the skin, that I would try speeding up the process in the areas of my underarms and chin (I am also treating bikini area, because why the heck not?). Instead of doing only once a week, I have been doing my underarms and chin about every 4 days. I have had no scarring or burning. I do notice the smell of burnt hair when doing it near my face, which I feel it means it's working! It does sting for a second in areas with denser hair growth, but the more I have done it, and the less hair that is growing it in, the milder the zap is.

I have DEFINITELY noticed that my armpits have far less hair growing in at all, and the hair that is growing in is coming in finer. My chin has very coarse hair, and I can't bring myself to stop tweezing all together and only shave as I am paranoid I would look like the bearded lady, so the results are much slower in that area, but I have noticed smoother skin and less hair there as well. Same with the bikini area.

Buying this is equal to the cost of just one treatment of professional laser hair removal, so I'm happy with the results I'm getting, especially considering the low cost of the device, which should last me the rest of my life!

I dont typically write reviews, but feel compelled to do so as this product actually works. I have wanted to head to a salon for laser hair removal but was daunted by the time and cost required. Ive been using this product (only for underarm hair removal) and I am amazed by the resultsI used to have to shave every other day and would get rashes, now, hair is practically gone, and all regrowth is baby fine and barely visible. Im happy to endorse the product without having been solicited to do so. Note: I have fair skin and dark hair, ideal for laser hair removal with this product; longer light waves would be better for darker skin so that the skin is not damaged. The laser light is directed at and gets absorbed by the pigment in the hair itself, which sits in the hair follicle, said Dr. Robyn Gmyrek, dermatologist at Union Square Laser Dermatology in New York City. When the laser light gets absorbed, it creates heat. If enough heat is generated down the hair follicle, it will destroy the hair growth center in the follicle. If the hair growth center is destroyed, you should not create a new hair.

I can sadly only give this product 5 starts . Cant praise this product enough . I bought this product just to give it a try before i went and spend a fortune getting my hair removed from a clinic .when the product arrived it took me a while to figure just how it works , at first i though its not working because of inadequate instructions given in the manual which can confuse and make you feel like the product is faulty . I really advice that you try seeing at least three to four videos on you-tube so that you are sure that there is no confusion on how the product works .Because i assure you it works wonders .
So i have a medium fair skin tone with black hair .I surely was not super duper hairy but i did have to shave every three days if i wanted to wear a skirt and my underarms almost everyday . Used it about 4 times (one week apart )and my arm hair is gone almost completely .My legs also 80 pec done .(in just four freakin sittings ). My underarm hair is although just 50 perc affected , i suppose i will have to take more sittings . They tell you you need to take a min of 6 sittings to see results but then honestly i feel they are being modest lol or just playing safe .Also because the instructions are unclear i only flashed each area one time in each of my four sittings . You can flash each area twice . I think if i had done that i would probably not need the fifth sitting .
One needs to figure at what setting is the device comfortable . I used it on the 4th level because the fifth made me feel like the area is getting hot and was also giving me zappy electrical feeling . On areas like my knee that is darker i used it on the 3rd level and result was just the same . Dont try to get to the max level because the level are according to skin color , and you wont get better result on higher setting .
The process is time consuming for sure but then that is sooo okay because for 150 dollars .. my hair are gone gone forever . i wish they made the flash area just a bit bigger . All in all its a steal . If you are confused on which one i will genuinely recommend this one .

This amazing device it's definitely a hit!, It's very easy to use, the instructions are so clear, comes in an elegant box where you can storage it. It comes with 3 detach lamp cap:
1. hair removal cap
2. SR cap (improving skin)
3. AC cap (eliminate acne and relieving inflammatory acne)
Also includes a nice sunglasses for protect my eyes while during the treatments. I started to see results since my first treatment, you can see it in my before and after picture.

Cons. Only you need to be patient because you will see the results but it will come with every treatment.

Definitely you don't regret of this purchase, I'm made a several research of this device's and I compared it and finally choseen this one and I'm glad choseen it! It's a high quality product, definitely I highly recommend it.

I have been using this for a month now. I do the treatment once a week. I have very fair skin and very dark hair. I'm working on my bikini line and my underarms.

I bought this not really having high expectations.

The directions are horribly unclear but there are a lot of good videos out there on YouTube that can show you how to use this. I felt pretty confident after that.

It took about a month but I really feel like something is happening. There is definitely less hair on my bikini line. Is the hair gone? No. But I am feeling pretty good about the results so far.

I think it's working better on my bikini than my underarms.

The device is a little annoying to use as there is only one button that serves different functions.

I use the device on the highest setting. It feels like a little shock or sting, but is not painful.

I'm going to keep using this and hopefully after another month, I'll see even better results! *fingers crossed*
