I had tried a number of other devices to improve my skin - being 76 years old, I wanted that sweet, smooth look some old women have. Not to look younger, just better! Every thing I tried made my face look better, but not better enough. I finally swallowed hard and hauled out my credit card and ordered this little gem right here. I was half-afraid to try it. Was it good enough to be worth more than twice what I had paid for others?Well, yes, it was. First time, trying to be very gentle, I got only a slight-but-noticeable result. Next time I bumped it up, and after a few treatments, things were much nicer - smoother, clearer. I am soooo glad to have this little thingie. If you are wondering whether to buy one, and if your face makes you crazy from time to time, or all the time, give it a try. I mean it. It's great!Just to update, and in case you need an extra boost - because I often think, How many things have I thought were going to give me a lovely complexion, and then they ended up at the bottom of a drawer somewhere, forgotten? Not this baby! Over a year later, I still use it faithfully a couple of times a week and wouldn't be without it. Note: it has not given me perfect, flawless skin, but the color is even, I don't break out, that oily shine is gone, and it's easy to use. My wrinkles are still obvious, but not at all like they were before. It's quick and easy to use, too.

I bought my NEWDERMO Microderm directly from the company website, but as an avid Alisa buyer, I wanted to post my experience with the NEWDERMO Microderm here.

I've been getting microderm treatments from a local med spa as my skin is very oily and prone to sebum plugs (whiteheads/blackheads) and acnes. With large pores and acne scars, my skin almost looked like strawberry :( Getting tired of paying a lot for microderm and driving to a med spa, I decided to spend some $$ on a portable microderm device. I was worried about not having enough suction like a spa-grade microderm machine which can only be operated by professionals. But the NEWDERMO Microderm's level 2 was strong enough for my skin and I had to reduce the strength to level 1. And yes it feels and works just like a microderm treatment in a med spa. I was pleasantly surprised.

I've been using it for two weeks already, and within first week my skin is no longer dull-looking. I can't say a lot about minimizing pore size as it has been only two weeks, but whiteheads and blackheads have disappeared about 80-90% (thus less visible pores). Sometimes I have to use a comedone extractor to completely remove blackheads because they get pulled out by suction. This device can be gentle yet powerful. After I use MicrodermNEWDERMO Microderm I use high quality toner and moisturizer. I can definitely feel my skin absorbs much better these days.

While I was searching for a portable microderm device, I thought about buying other microderm systems from Alisa or Groupon because they are much cheaper. But they are either difficult to operate or not very functional (only low and high suction levels without an LED screen). I needed something user-friendly (not for salon owners or aestheticians), portable yet powerful. If you are like me, I think you will be happy with NEWDERMO Microderm.
In addition, maintenence is super easy. I see sebum plugs get trapped inside a microderm tip and a grey circular filter, so I clean the tip with a mini brush, dispose the used filter and fit a new grey circular filter into the plastic part of the tip. Once you put the tip back in the system, it's ready to go!
I advice you not to be stingy on filters.. Please remember to change a filter every use because the microderm device traps lots of human skin, oil, and sebum plugs and dirt even for one use.. If you don't you may burn the motor in the device or get those dirty things get traped in the device. If you have any questions, don't hesitate to contact the seller / company because they're very friendly and kind.

5) Easy to control with 3 suction strengths

Cons (not really cons?):
1) Strong! (I almost hurt my skin by trying level 2 and 3 - first time users please start with level 1 or you can hurt your skin)
2) Initial expense on the device can be pricy (It's almost like paying for 2-3 microderm treatments but again you get to save money later on)

If you are looking for a luxury gift for someone you love this valentine's day, this can be a great gift for anyone who would love to have healthy and beautiful skin. :-) I bought this microderm system for myself because my husband is clueless about skin care products.. My mistake I let him try it on his skin and now he wants to steal it from me :(

I absolutely love this product it does really work I've been using it a lot and oh my goodness the way it makes my skin feel and look it's so amazing. And it has blown my mind the way it really takes dead skin right off your face I'm so amazed that I'm even considering getting my mother one of these. I really was amazed people and u will be too. It's so worth what u pay for and oh my goodness the way it makes your skin feel afterwards it's great. U will not be disappointed with this product and I have searched forever for a good product to help my skin and help with wrinkles and middle aged acne.
