Keep in mind YOU are doing a treatment on yourself that is NORMALLY done by trained licensed professionals. I use to be one. + I've had salon treatments but out of convenience thought I'd try the home route. After reading a 1,000 reviews I decided to go w this one despite the cost!

It's a little tricky the 1st time due to the suction, trying to hold your skin taught, move the handheld device, move it in the right direction across your face while looking in a mirror & pay attention to what the device is telling you to do every 30 sec or minute. LOL After a couple of times you get the hang of it. Just make sure you use a NEW filter every time & clean out the diamond tip with the brush in the kit. I only charge every 3rd or 4th time. I use 2-3 time a wk. at 52 I have adult cystict acne, with deep scars & this has been great to bring back my "NEWDERMO Microdermw" & keep my flair ups down. My acne scars are actually getting better as well.

BE CAREFUL DO NOT HIT YOUR LIPS OR AROUND YOUR EYES! READ THE DIRECTIONS IN FULL BEFORE YOU START. If you accidentally hit a tiny bit of your lip area, you will be wearing chap stick for a couple of days. LOL Jump in you won't be sorry IF you truly want to take 5-10 min 2-3 times a weeks to take care of your skin. if not, don't waste your $.

I'm a huge beauty junky and diy girl. That said, my latest "peel" left me with burned skin. After it healed, the texture was like rough sandpaper with layers of dry, itchy skin. No amount of exfoliation helped, so I thought I'd give this a try and omg...2 treatments later, I have the softest skin and all the scaling is gone!!! I'm using it every other evening on level 1 and have had immediate results. I will continue to use this until it dies and I buy another one. Fyi, I'm in my mid 40's and had a series of dermabrasion years ago at the dr., and this is basically the same as a professional treatment. Aesthetician burned my face on lazer treatment about 9 years ago and I was left with very thick skin with dark marks as scars. Had to wear ton of pricey make up to cover since and it was painful for years. Now I have hope with this little NEWDERMO Microderm machine after only two uses. Dark marks are lighter which result lesser make up needed daily. My very sensitive skin makes me have to wait two weeks between treatments. There was nothing much in the instructions book so had to read Q&A online to figure out how to use the NEWDERMO Microderm and it was a big con.Otherwise, this machine provides the same treatment than the one I have got from the salon at cheaper cost. No amount of face wash or product I was putting on my face was working. High end : low end. It didn't matter. My dry, flaky, dull skin was now making it impossible to use make-up. I decided to try at home microdermabrasion. I had a lower end device before purchasing the NEWDERMO Microderm system. Unfortunately I was too aggressive with my less expensive system because it wasn't doing the job. I temporarily damaged my skin. NEWDERMO Microderm is a better product but it made the difference for me for two reasons: First, NEWDERMO Microderm provides and LED display of a face with arrows on it that shows me the right way to use the the device one area at a time. Secondly it automatically times out to prevent overuse ( very important ) on each area of my face. For me, I found by following the instructions and relying on the timer that is built into this products LED display, I can get maximum results without damaging my skin. It has 3 suction settings. Even with my crazy flaky skin I am still using the lowest setting. NEWDERMO Microderm lifts the dry skin on my face sort of like a snow drift which I wash away with water and wipe gently with a cloth. I use one filter for each session and would recommend ordering a bag of 100 filters when you buy NEWDERMO Microderm. The suction pulls the clog in my pores to the surface of my skin for easier extraction with a tool. So, I follow the great instruction built right into the device and follow up with a really good serum and moisturizer. A good serum and cream is a must in my experience. After the very first use my face was pretty silky feeling! I have used this system twice a week with an occasional touch up around my problem area (which is my nose) and my skin is cleaner, smoother feeling, smoother looking and definitely allowing my serum and moisturizer to do a better job. This is a must have item for me now. I just purchased a higher end serum and moisturizer because these products can actually do their job now! A little goes a long way now that I'm using NEWDERMO Microderm.

I did a lot of research and was worried about purchasing an “at home” product that would be a waste of money. I will say that I have used this twice and it is very close to what I get at my spa. It is very easy to use and the suction is powerful. I am finding that I can only put it on level 2 for now. It has 2 different heads, 1 for larger areas of body or skin and a smaller for more targeted areas. I wish it had a a third head for very small areas. Overall I am very impressed and my skin feels the same as it does from my professional treatments.
