I use my device three times a week. For the best results I wash my face with a face brush to get deep down in my pores, then use a face steamer machine 8 minutes then use this device. The tighter your skin the better and the easier this is to use. I like rough exfoliation so using the highest setting I get a good amount of skin in the filter. Afterwards I apply a vitamin c serum and my face is as smooth as silk. I love this thing. It has been helping my adult acne as well and gets the scarring. My deeper scars are still there so I will have to see how it helps that in the future. After all this hydrate! Water is the greatest gift to skin, so unsweetened hot tea, water, coffee :)
