I only bought this for touch ups and maintenance as I've previously gotten professional laser and it works perfect for that :)

I have done 9 sessions with my device. You don't really see any difference until session 2. Then your hair grows back finer and very much in patches. Im not seeing hair grow back at all now so really impressed with my device. ..

I am not sure about the flashing light, but overall the product is easy to use. I have seen results after a few weeks in some areas.

I am a girl but I have hair like a man :( but this little thing changed my life, really I can say I saw the change from my first session, my face is clear and I can't believe it doesn't grow up anymore and I just have 7 sessions so far, so happy with the results, just be consistent and you will see the change ;)
