The quality of the stand and heat lamp at this price seems appropriate. Overall, the product is effective, enduring, and of generally good quality. I find the mount where the electrical control box meets the stand is of questionable stability and requires regular tightening of the screw. |

This guy really puts the heat where you want it, but it takes a long time to heat up. When you are in pain and need to use it, that 15 minute wait is heck. Once you get about 10 minutes of use though, you are glad you waited. |

This is a very well made product. the base weighs about 15-20 lbs for great stability. There aren't any instructions, but it's so simple to put together. Don't forget the fuses. they are taped to the flyer. The poles are metal, not plastic. It has a heavy duty electric cord. There isn't any bulbs that I can see, but the heat gets there pretty quick. I have arthritis in my hip that is very painful. So it was the first place I tried it out. I let it heat the spot for about 45 min. Although not all the pain went away, it was markedly reduced to my amazement! I can honestly say this unit is definitely a great value, even if I had to pay another 50 bucks, but I didn't so...that price is a give a way. Buy it with confidence. I haven't had it but for a day so I don't know how long it lasts. |

Solid, sturdy quality. Easy to assemble without assembly instructions (which is good since it doesn't come with any), like the timer feature (optional to use). I set it for the max of 60 minutes, so I can keep an eye on the time to ensure I give it 15 minutes to warm up. I use this for sinus infections, as this is something my ENT uses. I notice improvement using the lamp. |

So nice that it goes deeper into the skin heat wise and doesn't just make the surface hot. I felt it added another level of healing to my treatment and kept me comfortably warm since I get cold easily. |
