When I first got it I thought it did not work so I wrote to them to complain and their customer service responded right away and helped me troubleshoot it. Turns out I had not turned it on properly - you need to hold the power button down for a few seconds and I had not done that. I followed their directions and have to say I was very surprised that once I figured out how to turn it on, the directions about how to use it were clear and it worked from the very first treatment. The hair that I am trying to get rid of on my upper lip did not come back for more than a week, and less came back than I had before. I have just done the second treatment and hope that it will last at least that long. I had expected the treatment to remove the hairs once it had treated the roots but no, I still had to pluck them out, but like I said, they did not come back for more than a week. Prior to this, they would be back almost the next day, and the constant plucking was causing skin rashes. The lamp seems also to have helped with my skin rashes, so I am very happy with this device. It is great that it includes protective glasses, though I am not completely sure if they are adequate so I shield my eyes with my hand as well. There are glasses on the market that are rated for better protection for your eyes, but I am unsure about which ones would be the right ones to use with this unit. I will update this rating periodically with progress reports! |

Couldn't believe it actually worked, but after the first test, only 50% of the hair grew back, after the second treatment, bald as a baby! |

First and foremost Ive had laser hair removal done in two areas. One of the areas Im going over again with DEESS. I spent a few thousand dollars doing laser hair removal and to say that I was disappointed, mad, and felt that I was ripped off isnt enough to cover how I feel. Moving on, I have fair-med skin color and black hair...not too thin but not thick either. I bought this system for $118 with high hopes but little expectations. I just completed week 3 four days ago and Im impressed! To be an in home laser hair removal treatment device Im genuinely impressed. I treat my face on level 3 twice and my underarms on level 5 three times. The hair on my face doesnt start growing until about day 4/5 and it doesnt grow as much! Now the hair in my underarms starts growing on day 3 which is a great because I no longer have to shave every day or every other day. Anyway, it says that I should start seeing some noticeable changes at week 6 and that after week 12 I should only need touch ups (monthly I believe) so I will update my review at week 6 and week 12. |

Really like this. I bought this truly hoping this would work - it does! I am over halfway on my 12-week treatment (7 weeks) and I can say that it definitely has reduced my hair in the areas I've been using it. It's painless, just a prick from time to time is all you feel. It does take a good deal of time if you're covering a large/multiple areas of your body so it's important to note that you need to set aside some time to do this each week. I stopped doing my lower legs (knee down) after the first treatment because I think I developed a weird allergic reaction to the IPL as my legs were extremely itchy and bumpy and had red marks on them the 2-3 days after treatment. Haven't really experienced that anywhere else on my treatment areas. I do really enjoy the hair-free areas I have been able to achieve and am excited about the results to come after the full 12-week treatment is complete. |

Scrape the hair before use and then apply aloe vera gel. The laser is not so hot. After using it twice, the hair has become thinner. I don't think it should take too long. It is very convenient to use. |
