The only reason I would not give this 5 stars is because I feel the downtime between flashes is a bit too long. While necessary for the device, it can make the process feel much longer than it should. I do pretty much everywhere on my body with dark hair (arms, underarms, legs, bikini line) and it takes up to 3 hrs sometimes. It's fine for me because I just watch a show or movie, but for those more busy than me I can see it being a problem.

As for the hair removal part, if you have lighter skin and darker hair, this thing is absolutely amazing. While upkeep once a month after the 12 weeks is needed, it saves me so much more time between shaves. I used to shave 3-4 times a week and now I can go 2 weeks. I'd probably go more, but the small hairs that are left grow too long after 2 weeks.

The main benefit to this compared to others is the price. Though, to be honest, if you want to spend less time doing it, I'd recommend investing in a most expensive one because the downtime between pulses is usually shorter on more expensive devices.

Good product, and I tried for several times, looks good now. But it is a long term uses needed hair remover, still need more time to define.

Its great for the price. Only reason Im giving it 4 stars its because it takes forever to do one session and requires lots of sessions.

It is easy to use (should read the directions tho! One button controls everything so the directions help). Definitely a tedious process to cover large surface areas but thats expected from an at home laser treatment! I noticed a difference when I was consistently using it (once per day) and then when I got lazy and stopped I definitely noticed hair growing again but super slowly (I only used it for a two weeks). If you stick with the treatments I bet the results will be good (dont be lazy like me). Also as other comments say, make sure to shave before using it otherwise you will just end up with singed hairs and a nice burnt hair smell.

So I started laser hair removal for my underarms about 9 months ago at a spa and after calculating how much it would be to do all the areas I wanted, it was going to be at least $1000 bucks more. So I decided to try this and compare it to a laser treatment.

PROS- affordable, easy to hold, easy to use, it does feel similar to the spa treatments, just not as intense or painful because the laser is not as strong. After a few weeks of use I did notice a difference hair is growing slower and is thinner. The suggested treatment is once a week for 12 weeks: spa treatment is once every 6 weeks for 8-12 treatments (about a year)
CONS- it is slower to do treatments this way because the laser needs 3 seconds between bursts to recharge. Also doing it on yourself is difficult as you cant see some areas very well.

I will update after 12 weeks with my results but overall it does compare to salon treatments and I do recommend it because its much more affordable.
