As you can tell by the idiom, I'm a bit long in the tooth (another dated idiom)... 71. I'm at a point where I tell my doctor what doesn't hurt, rather than what does... it's a shorter list! Lately, I've has trouble with muscle spasms in my upper back and neck that last for days. I've read several articles on TDP infrared mineral heat lamps and the science behind them and decided to give it a try. Looking through what alisa as well as other companies had to offer, it appeared that this same lamp was being private labeled by several different companies and sold for a wide range of prices. This one, sold by alisa. thorough alisa, was by far the lowest price of all those I looked at. There are cheaper, tabletop TDP lamps, but I wanted a floor standing unit that I could use anywhere.First thing I noticed when unpacking the lamp was how well it was built. With the exception of the control panel and knobs, the lamp is metal, mostly steel. The base was heavy, to keep it from tipping over, and came with casters to make it easy to move around. If you don't have GFI sockets in your house, it might be a good idea to use a GFCI Adapter like |
