So far, good. As the description says, the lamp does take up to 15 minutes to fully activate, but is well worth the wait.

It did work very good for my pains but I won't be able to use it for a while because of my total knee replacement surgery.

Very happy with the product. Easy to remove the head and store the stand and the head separately. I am ordering the second one already!
