I am nearing 35 years old, and I was considering professional microneedling in order to smooth out the surface of my skin. Then came across the NEWDERMO Microderm on Alisa. I was willing to pay more in order to see if something like this would work before spending a lot more money on several microneedling sessions. The reviews seemed mixed but I took a chance on it. I've used it maybe 5 times at this point and so far so good! It's easy enough to use (the instructions it comes with aren't really descriptive/detailed but between that and the video on Alisa it's enough info), easy assembly and cleaning between. I love changing out the filter and seeing the dirty looking gunk on it! It's probably a little too early to tell but I feel I can see a difference in my face already. I want to use it every other day so I can see results faster lol but the instructions say twice a week so I've been sticking to that. I'm excited about this high-tech little gadget (I love that it's FDA registered!) and I look forward to seeing the results in the upcoming weeks!

Very compact, very easy to do. I'm in my late 30s and simply don't have the time or budget for a series of spa microdermabrasion facials. This is a perfect solution. Be sure you also have a nice serum to use after treatment.

I purchased this because of its compact size. I have a professional microderm machine, but it's substantially bigger and I find myself not using it as often as I really should because its cumbersome to pull out and set up. I purchased this product because I can keep it in my vanity and exfoliate at a moments notice, which in that respect, it has performed its duty. My complaint with the device is with the diamond tips. They do not exfoliate exceptionally well and wear out very easily, requiring frequent replacement tips. Maybe my expectations are too high since I'm comparing the results to a professional grade machine, but the price of this when you factor in the replacement tips is roughly about the same as a professional device. This is perfect for someone looking for a more gentle deep exfoliation because it does work and is super compact and easy to use. Just be prepared to order replacement tips often.

I have really enjoyed this product and I believe it has worked well to improve the elasticity of my skin (I'm 48) at my laugh lines - so they seem not so deep as before. My teen daughter has also used this for her acne scars and her skin also appears more smooth and has a more even tone.I feel for the price compared to the amount of use it gets and the results we've seen that it was well worth it. It won't replace spa services but it's good if you can't afford the spa or want a good home maintenance routine.

I am a licensed esthetician, and I have just received the NEWDERMO Microderm and used it for the first time. It is legit.
It is super light, I was surprised by its small size and its high power. It has 3 powers of suction, I sticked to the first 2 levels for the first use, as I have a rather thin, sensitive skin.
Please note the most important feature of a microdermabrasion device is its suction power.
The suction power is measured in inches per Hg
Level 1 is 14 hg/in
Level 2 is 18 hg/in
Level 3 is 22 hg/in
When you look at all the dirt you find on the filter after one use, you realize that it is a powerful device.
Big plus for people who travel: it charges with a USB cable, and it can be used all around the world, compatible with every voltage. Not the case with many other devices.

For home use devices, only the Kendal has a higher power that goes up to 26 hg/in, but Kendal is a device much heavier, more steps are required before the use, and its customer service is known to be not great. That's why I chose the NEWDERMO Microderm and I don't regret it!
