This did help lighten and thin out hair for me, BUT I've had the medical grade machine treatments at higher levels which temporarily helped (lasted 1-2 years after 10 treatments as I have PCOS and am hereditary predisposed to dark thick hair). What I did to make this work was ignore the instructions and set the machine to level five and zap 3 times in place slightly moving the machine only milometers before moving the machine across the areas of my face that needed to be treated IMO. You have to shave the hair loosely (don't expect a close shave to allow the laser to follow the hair down with layers of skin enveloping the dark target root). The process slightly burned and left a thick layer which sloughed off and I controlled infection by washing my face and then using witch hazel and 50% isopropal alcohol mix as a toner. For discomfort & sensitivity apply with topical lidocain (Ora-gel works) and antibacterial moisturizing ointment for two days. I also avoided the sun for 5 days or wore sunscreen. Buy day five I noticed the hair would not regrow and when it tried months later to regrow it was sparse and thinner. The process for me needs to be repeated over the sideburns and an aggressive patchy beard that looks like a teen boys face which is so gross. This product used in this manner for me lifted and eventually removed hyper-pigmentation scars from plucking hairs in vain and getting clogged follicles which could lead to infection and scarring. This tool is a lifesaver for me as I've always been very conscious about hair, especially on the face, and unfortunately even diet and exercise didn't help when the problem became very bad, and the professional lasers for a time worked for years. Not having to go to salons and doctors offices with such a sensitive problem and Knowing via years of trial and error how my skin reacts to many things. I was happy since due to illness I have become more unable to get around due to disability. I appreciate that this product if used more aggressively can give results that make my best experiences with expensive laser hair removal at least some what achievable. If the Best Pro's are a 10 this is at least a 7 the way I've found best to use it. The recovery time from doing my full facial hair area of sideburns, chin, neck & mustache Is about a week and the process can be re done in 2 weeks if your like me. So far I'm pleased. No snotty attendants snickering at your private issues unlike people who wax and just do their jobs well, but it's not as permanent, nor does it help lighten the hairs that return and not lead to as many ingrown hairs. This laser worked for me, as I stated. I only feel as though if this product could be a bit more deep penetrating into deep thick follicles. For those I've had to zap up to six times at once and even go back in as soon as a week later on one or two stubborn hairs and see which follicles could be tamed in small patches on my face. I hope this helps any other women dealing with the same problem I've had. I've only used this product and for 130$ it seems like a real deal. It take a lot of time to move so slow ly over the treatable areas, but it is worth the money and the time and after care to have less hair, (and usually no hair for a few months)AND clearer de-hyperpigmented skin in my case. I would recommend this product used as recommended first, and then tweaked if needed depending on what area of the body, thickness of skin and depth and girth of the hairs to be removed as well as supportive skincare after treatments. I give this a solid 4 stars. It is a decent replacement to the overpriced laser hair removal clinics with questionable staff who are so bored they let you leave their facility with a burnt face and no topical protection cooling gel anesthetic or feeling of being served and just want to take your money and serve the next head of cattle. Some places are great, but too expensive and cheaper places can cut corners and do an uneven job with the laser. Treating yourself is the better option. Hope these tips helped anyone wondering what they need to do to care for unwanted hair if it's anything like mine. |

I've had several series of hair removal laser treatments for facial hair. Although they are advertised as per net, I have never found this to be the case. While this appliance has not given a permanent solution either, I enjoy the convenience of being able to use this in my home. I have found that hair growth has decreased and hair is becoming finer. Highly recommend! |

I started using it to treat full legs, hands. It worked fine for first few treatments, but lately it's taking hours to finish treatment with 8 seconds gap between each zap (supposed to be 3 seconds). The fact that there is no auto zap option and the wait between each zap is tiresome. Also, I haven't seen any difference at all after 5 treatments. I have tried contacting the customer support multiple times, as there is a 24 months warranty on the product and there is a chance that I got a defective piece, but nobody replies. All this inconvenience is not a penny worth, I feel robbed. |

It's easy to use and I can only hope it will do the trick. |
