My girlfriend used this product twice and would like to share the experience with you. Plug in the device and hold th button for three seconds to turn it on and there are for levels to adjust. She suggests to start at level 2 to avoid prickling. When the green light turns on, position device on skin vertically and click the button. If the device does not touch the skin it will not work, this is one of the safety features to DEESS. The product comes with an eye protection and you shield wear a mask to avoid a burning smell. After the first few times, the new hair will become finer and thinner. My girlfriend suggest to use aloe gel to comfort the treated area. Expect better results later.

Overall, I am very happy that I bought this product. I have thick dark hairs on my chin and have tried waxing, tweezing, threading, electrolysis, and laser hair removal. Laser works great - after a few days the root dies and the hair sheds - but facial hair can be very stubborn, so I needed to get it done every 8-10 weeks or so to keep it up.

Having this at home has made my life much easier (and cheaper). It is much slower than having it done at a salon and it takes longer to see results. But ultimately it does work. For a while I was using it once a week, then once every 2 weeks, and now I just do touch ups when I see that my facial hair is beginning to grow back.

Note: the instructions say to use only below the chin. I was VERY scared about scarring my face, so I first tested this on my leg at the lowest setting and then experimented with the settings a lot before feeling comfortable using a higher setting on my face. I have olive skin, but I am still able to use the highest setting. I think if you use it under 4 then you would not see results.

The only negative about this product is that it takes FOREVER (because it takes about 4-5 seconds between each flash), which would really make it impossible to do on a large area (like legs). Even when I do my underarms I lose patience. But great for touching up small areas and face.

Girls doesnt like extra hair on leg or arm, so I want to remove some hair that I dont want. So I bought this hair removal system. First I want to say it is been cleared by FDA, because the safety always first priority. Also the product itself is easy to use only one button you can use for turn on/off and choose the level then apply on the area you dont want, but make sure remove the long hair before use this hair remover. After I use few times, I notice there are some hair will not grow from pores. Definitely recommend to everyone.

I think this product is light and not so heavy. it has the function of hair removal, soften skin and anti-acne which are multi-used. The manual is a little confusing about how to use it but once you get it , it is easy to use by simply hold the light for seconds. I think it is a product that worths recommending.

I have previously gotten professionally lasered and was looking for a home device to use for maintenance. I found this hair removal device easy to use. I have tan skin with dark skin, and have not gone past level 2. The device is efficient, however I wish there was less delay between pulses. A bonus is that the device comes with glasses!
