Great for an acupuncture or massage therapy office but it takes 10 minutes to warm up. Recommend you turn it on when the patient arrives so it is warm when they lay down.

Have had pain in the upper back shoulders and neck for many years. This lamp sure does help with that. Lamp is surprisingly well made. The timer can be heard ticking, but it is not excessively loud. No regrets for this purchase.
