I have had several far infrared lamps and this one is as good as any Ive had. I like the replaceable head feature. The past stand I used had 5 legs, this has only 4 but seems enough for stability. So far so good. Simple, nothing fancy yet seems to get the job done!!

This was recommended by an Acupuncturist for knee pain. She had one in her office and I enjoyed the treatment and the benefit so I got one for home use. I haven't seen her since. If I have muscle or joint aches after workouts or exercise this is a nice treatment to use on the area of discomfort. I rationalized when I bought it that if it saved me one or two trips to her office I would be ahead of the expense. This was worth every dollar. My concern was the stability of the device and I have had no issue with that, however, I have been careful about where I placed it and was sure it was secure. Only injury was when I bumped my head on it while it was being stored. (Oh well, no accounting for clumsiness.)
