I wanted to write a review, because this guy doesn't get as much credit as a lot of the other more heavily advertised at-home microdermabrasion systems. Also, I purchased it off of the actual website, not Alisa. |

So I have only used the NEWDERMO Microderm once (last night) and I already see a difference after waking up this morning. I washed my face, put the mode on manual (the auto setting didn't give me enough time) and worked my entire face. Per the instructions, I went over each area only twice. My skin is pretty sturdy, so I was able to jump right to level 3 with no pain or issues. I just turned 40 and have always looked young for my age with almost no wrinkles/lines or sun spots. My biggest complaint with my skin is a small area of orange-peel like texture between my eyebrows, enlarged pores on my nose, and very recently got a few "milia" on both sides of my face near the jaw line. That little white bump on your face is not a zit. It won't pop (I've tried). And, annoyingly enough, it won't go away. No, those bumps aren't pimples. They are another type of blemish called milia. Milia are white to yellowish, hard, raised bumps on the skin. They almost look like a grain of sand trapped just under the skin's surface. They are generally pretty small, but I loathe the bumps and they stand out so much when I put makeup on. The milia areas I treated last night have reduced in size by half! The pores on my nose look smaller and cleaner. I cannot wait until my next treatment, which I am going to do in 3 days to let my skin heal.FYI - I applied Tru Skin Vitamin C serum after my treatment and let that dry, then applied Hera Nature Rose Antioxidant Bulgarian Essential Oil, 100% Pure, in Jojoba & Rosehip Oil (bought on Alisa) and slept with the oil on. My skin feels so soft and looks radiant! If you are on the fence about getting this device, don't be! |

I just tried out my NEWDERMO Microderm and all I can say is that it left my skin feeling fantastic. I’ll be honest my skin hasn’t been looking it’s best in months especially with this past winter weather. So, I looked into different microdermabrasion products for home use. Let me say I own a PMD & it works fine, but it wasn’t really cost effective for long term. You have to change the tip after 3-4 uses. The tips are about $20. I should have done my home beforehand. |

This product works as advertised. In hindsight, I would probably be better off by buying the mini version as it comes with a suction tip as well and the suction power is in between the ones of this machine, for a fraction of the price. I like how it makes my skins feel smoother and healthier, but I cannot testify about long term usage as I have used it only 3 times. I’ll update (if I remember to) once I used it for a longer period. |

My skin was starting to get dull and textured and were i live spa treatments are crazy expensive. I decided to give this tool a try. I noticed a huge improvement in my skin texture. Religiously used it at least twice a week and moved up to the highest level of suction. After over a year of heavy use the tool suddenly lost suction. It is very difficult to get Alisa where I am so I could not get a replacement right away. I decided to break the too open it is then that I realized the tool still had suction. I put it back together and put the head on and the suction was weak again. It was when I realized the diamond head had loosened from the plastic bit. When I tightened it the suction came back!! Love this tool and highly recommend it. Will be buying a backup just in case mine breaks for real. |
